Subtle body, nice mouthfeel, nutty, toffee fudge.
Another remarkable coffee from our American friends of ‘Café Imports’. Although not so impressed by this years Guatemalas, we did find one that’s pretty impressive.
Guatemala has always been known as a country that delivers coffee beans with full bodied, gloopy mouthfeel, low acidity and long lasting flavors. It sounds as ideal espresso material, but also on filter we admire the nuttyness and velvety mouthfeel. This coffee comes from the Santiago Atitlan region where some small producers bundle their forces. The variety is a mix of Bourbon, Caturra and some Typica. And the beans are picked at 1500-1650 meters above sea level. As all other Guatemalan coffees we had before, the processing is Fully Washed.
